Founder's Day
What a great time at 120 Olympic Blvd on Saturday Night!! Eta Zeta hosted about 30 alumni and 10 spouses who flew or drove in from 5 states. Joe Barnett, Ross Kelly and Brad Keenan are now ATO's along with the ten active new members who pledged this Spring Semester. The food was exellent and the program was literally a living history of our 41 years as Eta Zeta Chapter. The chapter actives and the executive board leadership were great hosts. Good speakers-each and every one plus we had a great surprise finisher with "Mr. Doubletalk". Everybody was fully engaged - it was the best Founders' Day ever. I could not have hoped for anything better. Smiles all around.
Thank you Glenn Womack; you and Alan Tyson have the know how to do anything culinary. Marcie your kitchen skills and your kitchen design skills as well, are a totally new excellent dimension for us. Pat Blanchard, Kent Dykes, Jimmy Childre, Fred Vincelli, Jeff McGhee, Ali Sabsevari, Eric Rioux, Brian Hartman, Paul Michaud and Ray Pandtle. The sum of your parts was far greater than the whole = Synergy. Thank you my Brothers - that one will hard to top. However, I am sure we will try - look for good things to come. This Chapter has the right stuff and they are ready for any challenge. Most impressive.

Valhalla & Kitchen Work
The dates for Valhalla weekend are as follows: Valhalla Date Night - Friday April 17th, Valhalla House/Band Party - Saturday April 18th (band: Southbound). With construction of the boat fully underway, we would like to ask all brothers to be at each available date of the construction that they are free for. If you need a copy of the boat building schedule, please contact Alex Seglem. As for the kitchen, we are redoing just about everything from the floor up. New floor, baseboards, cabinets, appliances etc. A big thanks goes out to Mark Wilhelmi for all of the work he has put into the kitchen, and also to Alex Seglem for setting up the construction for the boat.
April 5th.
House Renovations
There is a lot of house construction and renovation going on right now. Some small house additions to note are a new TV, new couches donated from generous alumni, new lighting in the T.V. room, bathrooms, and chapter room, and a surround sound system that can be heard from the back and front porch as well as the chapter and T.V. rooms. Some large projects that have been completed are a new roof which was desperately needed, as well as a fantastic looking new deck. The deck looks relatively the same, however there is an extra stair case on the side leading to the drive way. Both of these things were really necissary, but the renovations don't stop there. We just completed the demolition for entirely new kitchen. Once the kitchen is completed, our house with for sure be the nicest on the row. I would like to extend a thank you on behalf of the chapter to everyone who is helping us right now as we continue to be the #1 chapter on campus.
